Babuji = Tyrannosaurus Rex
has already been mentioned here Chari's speech to officials of the Mission. Frank we had transcribed some quotes about Bill Gates, the Pope and AIDS. The full speech is now repeated on the website of the SRCM. It's called "Morality IS Essential." It was Oct. 12 during a seminar on character development.
There are all ingredients that Chari is attached but also its characteristic way of proceeding. That deserves a decryption line by line to show the rhetoric they use and disassemble the mechanism.
For now, I draw your attention to one of the last paragraphs, here is a rough translation (find the original extract at the end):
"The Scripture has (...) no sense, whether the Bible, the Vedas, the Torah or Talmud, they are meaningless. The guru is the living Veda, as it is called. What he said what he said, what he preaches, that is the Veda which is for us today. The past is the past, like dinosaurs and other fossils worthy of being watched and admired in museums. But not to follow. Not to be afraid. We are not afraid of the huge skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex in a museum. We are afraid of the bad things we obey bad things, we live through bad things, and we abandon the only truth - is that the guru is the living personality, his teaching is the Veda today His precepts and light our way (...). "
The living Guru is the Living Bible
What is the Bible, Veda, Torah and the Talmud together today? Is the word of the guru Shari? What becomes of the teachings of Sahaj Marg of yesteryear like the ten maxims (or commandments) of Babuji? Or those of Lalaji? Are they stored in the museum alongside the Tyrannosaurus Rex as Chari seems to suggest?
Again, Chari doing as it pleases. A sudden, the past is fundamental, a sudden it's good for the museum. He followed when it suits, or forget if it's better for him.
insidiously Chari Babuji relegated to the dustbin of history. One has only the word of Chari, the one true living Guru today. A Chari who dethroned Babuji is the idea that is gradually winning the unconscious abhyasis.
Everything is done with finesse by suggestion and certainly not by declaration, insidiously. Chari denigrates the past with dinosaurs, deemed to be antediluvian cheesy has-been and what have you. Babuji, Lalaji and the past of Sahaj Marg are never, ever denigrated directly. Instead, Chari recalls Babuji 23 times (if I am not mistaken) in support of his claim to give even more weight. It is certainly not a contradiction close, even within a single speech.
But what did he want to pass as an idea? The idea that the past is good for the museum. And by inference, association of ideas or anything you like, that the past of Sahaj Marg is a bit outdated and it is him, Chari, the living master, the sole guru that must be followed and listen. What about
Whispers from the bright world that Chari insistence to make the sale and so expensive to abhyasis? In the light of what he says here, I suggested he write himself his own Bible rather than to entrust the Writing to an unreliable medium Babuji dusty.
Whispers is good for the museum, the words that come from the mouth of the Chari up new Bible today. Unless this is tomorrow's a new way to enrich his successor.
