Program II: Liberal Party of Canada

Sometimes called the performance a party or a government run school, wondering whether or not deserve a passing grade. But, Professor, do you take off points for mistakes? The program of the Liberal Party of Canada , as part of his Green Shift, hope not.

Is it normal to have a paragraph that ends with a comma after the third page of his program? One by one decimal point ("." P. 53)? Lines that begin with semicolons (pp. 43, 52 and 69)? A paragraph that begins with a quotation mark (p. 49)? Otherwise, one speaks of "grandparents" without a hyphen (probably the parents of seven feet, p. 72), we are assured that the Auditor General "sveillera" (P. 7) is repeated a paragraph of eight lines, word for word, twice on the same page (p. 38) and we can give the name "Stephen Harper" is not capitalized on surname ( p. 4). I was always told there was nothing more deadly than a typo in a job application. Perhaps the rule is different when the job we are asking is that of Prime Minister of Canada.

M'enfin, we understand the Liberals. One, typos, it diverts attention from the personality of their leader. Moreover, the picture of Stéphane Dion does not emerge until page 82 (of 86), well after the presentation of more popular members of his party, such as polar bears (p. 39), the chubby baby (p. 46) and the gentleman excited to be on the verge of a colonoscopy (p. 42).

And two, they must focus on their Green Shift, the universal answer they found all the problems, the level of income taxes to the financing of universities. And the Liberals (and, if you want my opinion, most environmentalists fans) seem to consider that the ecological themes justify all slides Logically, all small falsehoods that may be useful to their argument. It asserts, for example, that "Currently, renewable energy sources account for less than 5% of the electricity produced in Canada. "(P. 30). Of course, we can blame some polluting effects to hydro-electricity, which constitutes about 60% of the electricity produced in Canada. But the call of non-renewable, really? Is the Liberal Party of Canada plans to moisten What could Pantoute Pantoute to fill the tanks?

is proposed to create financing options for "building networks distribution of clean energy. " Since it is certainly not about fossil fuel, we speak of son who know the difference between the electricity comes from wind turbines and those of coal plants? Similarly, on page 17 it says that when we talk about investment in infrastructure in remote areas under the Green Shift, he "is not just roads and bridges." In other words, this plan 'green' is not 'not only to promote pollution'. Impressive. And for keen observers, tell me, evoked for you this photo of a woman (an engineer, do we suppose), who runs a construction plan in front of some windmills on page 11? If the turbines are already built, we can conclude that it has other plans. And construction projects (on what appears to be an agricultural land) can only limit the effectiveness of those windmills. Yep, no need for substance consistent when the general color greenish.

I was so amazed by the environmental performance of the Liberal Party that I was unable to understand the table on page 15, regarding investments in infrastructure. Mind you, the inconsistency comes perhaps not from my side: One of the items in the left column ("Infrastructure Programs") is "$ 25 billion annually by province." Elements corresponding to the latter in the two right columns (respectively "Infrastructure [billion dollars] Total amount after 4 years" and "Infrastructure [billion dollars] Total sum after 10 years") are ... 1.3 and 3.3. Since when is it 25 billion times ten provinces, four years equals $ 1.3 billion?!?

Amazed, too, by the proposed solutions Violence Against Women:
"To fight against [violence against women] and end the social acceptance of those who incite hatred against women, a Liberal government will begin by amending the Criminal Code so include the sex of the person in the provisions on incitement to hatred. "(P. 51)

Note that not talking about hate crime, we are talking about incitement to hatred. Because, as everyone knows, peace would reign on the home only if we banned the ads, yet so popular, that are promoting violence and marital

for Finally, this little gem, which gives a good idea of the historical perspective of the party
"The last time Canada faced a challenge from [the extent of climate change], it was during the War World. At that time, all sectors of Canadian society, government, workers, businesses and ordinary citizens have answered the call and rallied throughout the country to cope. "(P. 27)

So tell me, if you remember the conscription crisis, is what this passage means that we do not consider Quebec as part of "all segments of Canadian society?
